Some places for a fun weekend in Barcelona

Winter is coming and I wanted real sunburns because it’s really cold in France.
So what better than escape to have a minimum of sun even if it’s only for a weekend.

Then, I spent my last weekend in Barcelona, my third time in this beautiful humid city of Spain. It was really hot ☀️ up to 24 degree.

I already visited all the famous sites, so nothing touristic this time, but there are some places that we can’t avoid to see.

There were also an event on Oct 12, thousands of people outside for  “Día de la Hispanidad”

For those who never been to Barcelona, the must see places are below.

During my week-end, I got new,
nice, interesting and funny addresses to perfectly enjoy the city.

Rooftops

To start my Saturday, I was at this quiet and friendly place. The day started very sunny so I enjoyed a little cocktail. There is a swimming pool, a nice bar and a mini restaurant.

Rooftop of Claris hotel

Pau Claris, 150 | 08009 Barcelona

Another one where I ended my day.
The perfect place to watch a beautiful sunset 🌇 over the entire city with music and have a drink. I really liked this part of the day.

Rooftop of The Gates Diagonal Hotel

Avinguda Diagonal, 205 | 08018 Barcelona

Restaurant, Coffee shop & Bars

I ate so much and very well this weekend. On Saturday, I was in tapas bars. Being in Barcelona without eating tapas is a little disaster. This is so good, there are various flavors and you can eat a lot.

Sagardi BCN Gòtic

Carrer de l’Argenteria, 62 | 08003 Barcelona

In the heart of “El Born”, the restaurant offers an interesting Basque traditional cuisine, everything was really delicious, I recommend you to take a good white wine with your tapas. The staff is super cool. There is an outdoor seating
Average price: 15€ for just eating tapas
                           35€ for a full meal

Euskal Etxea

It is in the “SAGARDI group”, a bit like the other one but with a different ambiance, we are rather standing except for the restaurant side.

Placeta de Montcada, 1 | 08003 Barcelona

Alsur Café El Born

Plaça de Sant Cugat, 1 | 08003 Barcelona

An ideal place to spend good time with your friends.  There are 4 different places in this cafe (two areas of tables and sofas, the bar and the terrace).
Lounge x Restaurant, music, food, pastries, coffee, cocktails and it could be perfect for Sunday brunch.

CLUBHAUSFood, Art & Play

Av. del Marquès de l’Argentera, 13,

A fun place in Barcelona, near ‘’Parc de la Ciutadella’’

The concept of CLUBHAUS is Food, Art, and Playwhich perfectly describes what goes on it (tasty food, cool art and lots of fun in one multi-concept space).
Upstairs there is the Showroom, with plenty of fascinating and fun art on the walls, a large bar, a pool table and space to sit and work, eat or drink, and a small terrace outside.

The drinks worth it , I loved their cocktails.
The « One Shot Oyster » is a must try.

Downstairs holds the Jungle Room: a members-only space for a fun night out, including a karaoke room.

Don’t forget to check out the bathroom, there is a mini-golf surprise in there..! ⛳️
I spent 10 min in the toilet, playing. 😁

They organize events sometimes.
It’s a very cool and excellent place, unique design with a friendly team. My favorite place of the day!

For the dinner, the first night was Italian food. Wherever I am, I should find an amazing real Italian restaurant. Always want to eat good pasta.

Gusto Restaurant

Carrer del Rosselló, 108 | 08036 Barcelona

A small cosy restaurant with genuine Neapolitan taste, informal and good value for money.

I order mussels to start, a pasta lobster 🦞 and to finish a real Italian Tiramisu (it was so big and delicious).
Price range : 14€ – 31€

Restaurant Carpe Diem Lounge Club

Passeig Marítim de la Barceloneta, 32

Carpe Diem has the most breathtaking interior design, a super classy, but also warmth and cozy vibe. You can choose to eat inside or outside where you can enjoy a view over the beach. At night there is a nightclub ambiance.

The restaurant’s menu offers a delicious fusion of Asiatic, Arab and Indian cuisines with a Mediterranean flair. I took oysters and pasta.
The most comfortable way to enjoy Carpe Diem is to make use of their Bali Lounge beds, it’s possible to get a massage while eating too. I loved it so much.

Spending the nigh at « Plaça Reial » for good bars and nice vibe is always a good a idea.

Barcelona is full of street arts, always happy to see  the walls full of colors. I found a lot of little streets that I liked.

Sant Pere, Santa Caterina i la Ribera

Hope you could like these places and enjoy! If you have some addresses, share them! 😉
